Jordi Puiggalí

Chief Security Officer and SVP Research & Security at Scytl

Jordi Puiggalí has headed Scytl’s Research & Development Department since the formation of the company (2001) and has been instrumental in the development of Scytl’s technology and intellectual property, co-authoring numerous international patents on application-level cryptography and e-voting security. Prior to joining Scytl, Jordi Puiggalí was the Technical Director for PKI and security projects at the IT department of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). As a security expert, he participated as a speaker and lecturer in numerous international conferences on computer security and applied cryptography. Currently, he is also assistant professor at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).
